Currently Seeking:
 
Talented CAD Designer
 
Applicant should have a minimum of an Associate’s degree in architecture or construction-design-related field using AutoCAD or DataCAD 2012. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience using these programs and should also have residential and new home design experience. Candidate needs to have a high attention to detail, and experience designing a structure from the ground up, including knowledge of load transfer and balancing. This full-time position involves completing detailed CAD drawings for our homes, as well as the following:

- Generate complete set of working construction drawings for review with customers at pre-construction meetings
- Generate work orders for architects, SW fnd, excavation, and sub-footing
- Have knowledge of energy code compliance regulations
- Coordinate and obtain all necessary permits for scheduled starts, as well as pickup/drop off of building applications and permits, and tracking/reporting of each home’s progress
- Preliminary review of Superior Walls drawings, and Truss drawings
- Generate sketches for RG&E paperwork
- Assist with base model and sales brochure updates
 
 
 
High-Octane Superintendent

Applicant should have a four-year college degree in a construction-related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a site superintendent and/or experience in new home building and site development. The right person will have an eye for details and be a go-getter, have a thorough understanding of the building process, and be concerned with all processes in the global project scheme.

This position requires a person with drive and passion for home building, and a commitment to excelling in the science, methods, and materials of construction. Applicants must be willing to work some nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed. Applicants must be excited about and committed to do the following:
 
- Build a quality home, start to finish, without oversight
- Develop and maintain a project schedule for each home, from start of construction to occupancy
- Be the first to the jobsite, and the last to leave it
- Be responsible for jobsite cleanliness, organization, and housekeeping
- Maintain positive, productive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and partners, as well as Town Inspectors and Code Officials
- Quantify, evaluate, and manage daily productivity of all site subcontractors and vendors for efficiency, safety, and code compliance, quality, schedules, and adherence to final prints/selections for each home being constructed – keeping a daily log is required
- Coordinate the routine scheduling of third party inspections, know all residential codes for each community
- Coordinate material credits, returns and orders
- Manage the Faber Safety Program and be responsible for OSHA compliance and ensure Faber standards and processes are followed and maintained by all site employees, including subcontractors, vendors, etc.
- Identifies problems, opportunities, and solutions - and clearly communicates to all involved parties
- Communicate daily with President and Production Department, via written (documented) reports
 
 
 
Self-Starting Sales Coordinator
 
Applicant should have a four-year college degree in business management, communications, marketing or similar field. Candidate needs to have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction industry (Girl Scout cookies and Boy Scout popcorn to NOT count). This full time, demanding position involves nights and weekends, and an "always on" mentality, as well as the following:
 
- The ability to identify with clients and provide them with the information they need to understand the Faber Homes process and product
- A natural joy of networking and talking to people, and helping them to solve problems
- The drive to be self-motivated, self-sufficient, resourceful and positive
- Be organized, punctual and forward-thinking
- The ability to generate and follow up on leads via referral, online, email, phone, or social media, in a timely manner
- A go-getter attitude that results in proactive self-organized networking events with realtors, brokers and other third party individuals, to help grow the Faber Homes brand and increase referral traffic
- Maintain an online CRM database via the marketing team for ALL leads (prospects and customers) and move those individuals through the CRM pipeline
